Amulet — god Re; Light blue glass; Ptolemaic Period, 332–30 BC, Egypt; amulet; height 3.2 cm, width 1.3 cm; depiction of Re Egyptian solar deity with solar disk., A small sculpted figure shown in profile with a rounded head and a pronounced forehead, a defined nose and chin, and a sloping back leading to a seated lower body; the surface shows mottled areas of pale green, off-white, and brownish-beige with patches of dark reddish-purple and some darker brown speckling, a few smoother worn areas and some rough textured spots, and a narrow rectangular base at the bottom with a few vertical indentations; overall the figure appears weathered with varied coloration and subtle surface irregularities.
