Amulet plaque in the shape of the god Imseti. Relief figurine shown in right profile as a mummy with a human head wearing a wig and divine beard. In front of the figure is an ostrich feather on a banner connected to the god's body by a piece of decorative material; a mat under the feet. Presumably an element of a mummy net. Sons of Horus mythology; Imseti mythology. Amulet; relief plaque. Date: 664–525 BC, Late Period, 26th Dynasty, Egypt. Height 6.1 cm, width 2.6 cm., A vertical rectangular object with rounded corners showing a raised carved figure in profile facing right, rendered in shades of green and turquoise with areas of brownish-beige patina and small dark spots; the figure wears a rounded headpiece and has a stylized eye, nose, and chin, with a short curved beard-like detail and a ribbed collar or garment across the chest; to the right of the figure a tall ribbed element rises and a horizontal ribbed band crosses the midsection, and a ribbed vertical element runs near the right edge; the surface shows weathered texture, fine pits, and two small circular holes near the top and bottom edges; the background behind the carved details is similarly green-turquoise with mottled brown discoloration.
