Amulet — figurine of a lion-headed goddess. A lion-headed goddess, in a tripartite wig and a narrow robe, walks with a lotus scepter in her left hand the right one is lowered. Presumably the goddess Sekhmet; possibly Wadjit or Bastet. Late Period, Egypt, 664–332 BC. Amulet; height 8.8 cm, width 1.7 cm., A small standing figurine shown full-length against a neutral background, with a stylized human body and an animal-like head, wearing a striped headdress and a long garment; the figure's posture is straight with one arm hanging down and the other bent across the torso holding a long object. The surface shows a weathered, glazed appearance with predominant turquoise and blue tones, along with areas of greenish patina and patches of brownish discoloration and darker spots. The base is rectangular and has worn brown and green coloration. The overall finish is glossy in places and uneven, with visible texture variations and small pits.
