Necklace with a scarab and an udjat eye. Necklace composed of six rows of faience tubular and disc-shaped beads, divided into short sections by faience and glass beads. Two amulets complement the whole – a scarab and the eye of Horus udjat. c. 1650–1800 BC, Egypt. Jewelry amulet; height 70 cm., An oval arrangement of beaded strands on a gray background forming a necklace with a central oval bead in a metallic brown tone flanked by several strands of cylindrical blue beads interspersed with small off-white and pale green spacer beads, a few round beads in green and mottled turquoise, a dark bead with white dots, a red bead with white dots, a yellow round bead with small red marks, multiple short sections of reddish-brown tubular beads, and a small irregular bright blue clasp-like element; overall colors visible include blue, off-white, pale green, reddish-brown, yellow, red, dark brown, metallic brown, turquoise, and gray.
