Fragment of a necklace of amulets 26 pieces, Goluchów Greater Poland Voivodeship; amulet necklace composed of 26 beige to greenish pieces including tit knots, ankh life signs and various objects; grave goods; ca. 1069–656 BC, Third Intermediate Period, Egypt; amulet, jewelry, A curved string holding a group of small pendant-like objects arranged like a garland, each pendant having a rounded, elongated, or slightly bulbous shape with small loops at their tops; the objects show a weathered, rough surface texture with areas of pitting and encrustation. The colors visible include shades of green, pale green, light tan, beige, off-white, and a few spots of darker brown; a small piece of twine or cord threads through the loops and appears off-white, and a short length of thicker twisted cord is tied near one end. The pendants vary slightly in shape and size and are spaced closely together along the cord, fanning outward to form a semicircular layout on a flat, smooth gray background.
