Necklace of amulets and beads; Cornflowers, face of Hathor, and flat fluted plates with crosses. ca. 1550–1295 BC; New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, Egypt. Amulet/jewelry; height 30 cm., A circular arrangement of small round and irregularly shaped beads forming a necklace on a neutral gray background, with most beads in shades of pale green and turquoise and a few showing darker teal and brownish corrosion; several round beads have scalloped edges and shallow incised patterns, and a few pendant-shaped beads hang from the lower arc with varied weathered surfaces and mottled blue-green and brown coloration.
