Alabastron, Slender alabastron with a distinct short cylindrical neck and a wide flat rim, provided with two tiny handles in the form of suppositories; vessel for oils and ointments, carved stone alabaster; Egyptian, Late Period, 664–332 BC; height 32 cm +1.5 cm base, width 5 cm, weight 1.11 kg., A tall, narrow elongated vessel with a rounded flat rim and short neck, displayed upright on a clear stand; the surface shows layered banding and streaks in shades of cream, beige, tan, and light brown with areas of off-white and subtle darker brown speckling, and smooth polished texture with natural irregularities and curved striations.
