Alabastron, Slender alabastron with a distinct short cylindrical neck and a wide flat rim, provided with two tiny handles in the form of suppositories. Stone vessel for oils and ointments alabastron; Egyptian art; Late Period, 664–332 BC. Height 32 cm +1.5 cm base, width 5 cm, weight 1.11 kg., A tall, elongated cylindrical object with a rounded top and a small flared lip, displayed upright on a clear stand; its surface shows layered, banded patterns in shades of beige, cream, tan, and light brown with areas of mottled discoloration and darker speckles, and the background is a solid medium gray.
