The head of a priest, in accordance with current custom, is hairless, high-domed, elongated towards the back, with a serene, young face. Skillful and sensitive modeling brought out the shape of the skull, the roundness of the cheeks, and the slightly smiling mouth. With base. 380–343 BC; Late Period, 30th Dynasty, Egypt. Sculpture; height 10 cm, width 8 cm, depth 8 cm, weight 0.64 kg., A sculpted stone head shown in profile resting on a rectangular base, the head is dark brown to nearly black with mottled patches of lighter brown and golden flecks, the surface appears worn and slightly rough, the ear is visible with carved inner details, the forehead and rounded skull are smooth, the nose and lips are defined, the base is darker black with a rough texture and a small area of white near its bottom edge, the background is a plain light gray.
