A painted ceramic jug with a handle, decorated with stylized figures of people robbers and musicians and animals, featuring painted decorations, zoomorphic representations and linear patterns; unique item. Maker: Antoni Kenar 1906–1959, co-created with the Office of Production Aesthetics Supervision 1947–1949 and the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Zakopane est. 1876. Date: 1949. Place of origin: Zakopane. Vessel, height 19.5 cm, diameter 14 cm., A rounded ceramic vessel with a narrow neck and small rim, glazed in an off-white or cream tone with a slightly speckled surface, decorated with black linear drawings depicting simplified human figures and abstract shapes, and accented with areas of muted pink and gray; the neck has a band of darker beige and a thin black ring where it meets the shoulder, and the base shows a thin black line encircling the form.
