Cup from the Baltyk set, designed by Bogumil Marcinek 1904–1940, manufactured by Fabryka Porcelany i Wyrobów Ceramicznych Cmielów SA 1920–1939; 1946–1951. White fine porcelain cup, glazed, with a bowl widening and flaring outward at the top, narrowed at the bottom by three concave embossments. The rim and bends in the lower part are emphasized by thin orange lines. The handle echoes the concave bends of the vessel, creating a cup-like form that bends outward; its upper part is delicately fluted, matching similar sections on the jug and sugar bowl from this set. The outer part of the handle is painted orange. Circa 1930., A set of white porcelain tea pieces sits on a reflective grey surface against a grey background, including a tall teapot with a curved handle and spout that have broad orange accents, a round lidded sugar bowl with curled handles and orange details, and a teacup on a saucer both trimmed with thin orange bands; the pieces have glossy surfaces and subtle reflections showing white, orange, and grey tones.
