Cup from the Baltyk set, designed by Bogumil Marcinek 1904–1940, manufactured by Fabryka Porcelany i Wyrobów Ceramicznych Cmielów SA c. 1920–1951. White fine porcelain cup, glazed; bowl widens and flares outward at the top, narrows at the bottom with three concave embossments. Rim and lower bends emphasized by thin orange lines. Handle echoes the concave bends, forming a cup-like outward bend; upper part delicately fluted, matching the jug and sugar bowl from the set. Outer part of the handle painted orange. Circa 1930., A white porcelain tea set sits against a gray background, consisting of a tall teapot with a domed lid and a curved handle, a covered sugar bowl with two handles and a domed lid, and a teacup on a saucer; each piece features orange accents including a broad orange panel on the teapot spout and matching orange on the handles and lid tops, and thin orange concentric rings decorating the lids, rims, saucer, and bases, with reflections visible on the glossy surface and the gray tabletop.
