En face female portrait, bust slightly turned to the left. Blonde hair combed up with a top knot; wearing a black dress, a cotton blouse of solid material at the front, and a transparent white collar on the shoulders. Dark olive-grey background. Inscription on the back of the board: With v Mieris., An oval portrait of a person set against a dark background, showing a head and upper torso with light skin and dark brown hair pulled back; the face has neutral expression and is rendered in warm beige and pink tones, with subtle shading; the clothing includes a dark outer garment in deep black and navy tones and a lighter inner garment in brown and tan shades, with a collar that has muted grayish stripes; the oval surface shows areas of surface wear and small patches where the paint is flaked, revealing lighter underlying tones; the surrounding space outside the oval is a flat mid-gray color.
