En face miniature portrait of a man in uniform, subject bust slightly to the left, elderly man, gray hair closely cropped, dark blond mustache, gray eyes. Russian infantry division general uniform, dark green with a red collar, gold buttons with double-headed eagle, gold epaulettes; wears 2 order stars, 5 crosses, and 3 medals on the chest including Polish Badge of Honour, Order of St. George, Order of St. Vladimir, Order of St. Anne star, Order Pour le Mérite.
