Bust slightly right; black hair, light blue eyes; white shirt collar and black cravat. Style: Polish miniature; amateur painter. Background ash gray, lightened on the right and around the head. Binding: rectangular frame with an oval cut-out of brown leather, two embossed borders at the edges, ornaments in the corners. On the reverse of the binding: inscriptions reading Józef Wentz'l with crossings-out, 1816? and Laniewski. Dimensions: height 4.2 cm, width 3.5 cm., A small rectangular frame with a brown textured surface and embossed decorative corners surrounds an oval portrait; inside the oval is a portrait of a young person with dark brown hair styled upward, pale skin, light blue eyes, and a neutral expression, wearing a dark blue military-style coat with high collar and silver epaulettes against a softly shaded gray background, and a round metal loop attached to the top of the frame is visible.
