Inscription on reverse of miniature: Kisiel/pradziad; on reverse of binding: ?/Kisiel. Dimensions: height 5.0 cm, width 3.8 cm. Historical note: Michal Kisiel — captain with the banner of the 3rd Regiment of the Advance Guard of the Crown Field Mace in 1791; Bar Confederate; after the fall of Wawel Castle in 1769 he was taken prisoner by the Russians and spent five years in Siberia., An oval portrait in a gold frame shows a person with short light gray hair and pale skin wearing a high dark collar over a white neck wrap and a red-orange garment underneath; the background is a muted gradient of dark gray to blue-gray and the visible colors include gold, gray, light gray, pale skin tones, dark black, white, red-orange, and blue-gray.
