Adam Potocki 1822–1872, son of Artur and Zofia née Branicka from Krzeszowice; after a miniature by Moritz Daffinger 1790–1849 and Emanuel Peter 1799–1873. Half-figure, en face portrait of a man 3rd right, head almost straight: blond hair and mustache, white shirt, black cravat tied with a bow, sand waistcoat, dark brown frock coat. Background: sky with lilac-blue clouds, lighter at the bottom. Ornamented oval frame of gilded brass with pearling all around, bow at the top fastened with a flower, ring for hanging, support. Inscription on the reverse likely made by Katarzyna Potocka or at her request; she and Zofia Potocka organized the Potocki family archives. 1850, Vienna. Miniature; height 9.3 cm, width 7.5 cm., An oval framed portrait of a man with light brown wavy hair and a mustache, wearing a dark coat, a black bow, and a light-colored waistcoat, set against a cloudy sky background; the frame is black with gold decorative inner and outer rims. Colors visible include brown, black, gold, beige, light blue, gray, and pale pink.
