Miniature portrait, profile of a woman in headgear and costume; height 11.7 cm, width 9.1 cm., A framed portrait of a person in profile facing left, depicted in pale tones against a darker background; the person wears a white, lace-trimmed bonnet with decorative bands and a dark ribbon tied under the chin, and a light-colored shawl or dress with lace edging and a bow at the front; the drawing is mostly in shades of gray, black, white, and pale skin tones, and the rectangular frame is gilded with worn gold and reddish-brown areas with visible cracks and two circular hanging rings at the top.
