Repossession provenance: Jelenia Góra., A small rectangular painted portrait set in an ornate gold frame with carved shell and floral motifs around the corners and edges, the frame suspended by a metal loop at the top; the painting shows a fair-skinned woman with dark curled hair and a small crescent-shaped ornament above her forehead, wearing a low white chemise with ruffled trim and a green garment with a diagonal pink sash, a quiver with visible feathers resting behind her shoulder, and a background of dark tree foliage on one side opening to a pale blue and yellow sky on the other.
