Dark brown hair parted in the middle; thin circular braids at the sides; decoration of rusty-red velvet ribbons at the back of the head; a gold chain with a la ferroniere medallion above the forehead; black velvet ribbon at the neck. White dress with a tyftic shawl with yellow and turquoise stripes on the left shoulder; arms lowered and folded. Background slightly watered. Rectangular narrow bronze frame decorated with a palmette, fluting and pearls; in a lockable case of dark purple leather. Inscription: IX Kaniewski/m. in Rome 1840.
