Portrait of Mrs. Ordezyna? Antonina née Kielczewski 1811–1893, wife of Józef Ordega, Lodzia coat of arms 1802–1879. Painted by Leon Brzezinski 1809–1865. Female portrait, three-quarters, young woman, half-length, almost straight posture, light blond hair in spiral curls along the face, braided crown at the top of the head. At the neck a blue cravat fastened with a ruby brooch; white gauze cape-like collar on the shoulders; black dress with a wide belt at the waist. Background in tones of broken brown. Oval miniature, signed “Brzezinski Leon, 1839.” Inscription on the reverse: “p. Ordega”, 1839, France. Miniature set in an oval gilded-bronze frame with palmette motif within a polished black rectangular wooden frame under convex glass. Dimensions: height 7.4 cm, width 6.0 cm., An oval portrait of a woman set in a rectangular dark frame with a rounded inner border and a gilded inner ring; the woman has light skin and light brown hair styled in symmetrical rolled curls at the sides and a braided bun on top, with a smooth center part. She wears a dark dress with a high waist and puffed sleeves, a white ruffled collar draped over her shoulders, and a blue neck scarf tied at the throat. Her expression is neutral and she faces forward against a muted brown background. Visible colors include black, dark brown, gold, light brown, pale skin tones, white, blue, and gray.
