Miniature; height 3.2 cm, width 2.5 cm., A rectangular ornate frame with a stepped outline and a decorative bow at the top in a gold color contains a group of small oval portrait paintings set into the gold background; the portraits show a few faces with pale skin and powdered white hair, several wearing clothing in red or blue, and one wearing a light-colored head covering, all depicted against dark or neutral oval backgrounds; decorative gold floral and shield-like motifs appear on the gold field between and below the portraits, and the overall color palette visible includes gold, red, blue, white, black, and neutral skin tones.
