She holds a sword and the palm of martyrdom in both hands. Barbara is dressed in a light blue dress with a red cloak falling from her shoulders. Her face is slightly rounded, her eyes bulging with large whites, and her lips small, vermilion. She wears a crown. Her hair is adorned with flowers and a sash. Her head is surrounded by an ochre-colored halo. The saint is surrounded by palmette leaves, arranged in fleshy shapes. In the lower part is an irregular aedicula an intense red background—formerly with text. In the background, in the upper right corner, the outline of a building is visible. The blue sky is covered with light blue clouds.
