Painting dimensions: 106 × 135 cm; with frame: 118 × 147.6 cm, thickness 5.5 cm., A snowy landscape with a narrow dark blue river cutting through white snowbanks, a brown bird with outstretched wings flying low over the water, snowdrifts and rounded snow edges along the riverbanks, a few exposed brown rocks peeking through snow on the near bank, a pale blue sky fading to a lighter horizon, and reflections of snow and sky in the water showing shades of blue and muted gray.
