Dimensions: 32.5 cm × 47 cm with frame: 49 cm × 63 cm., A large interior scene with warm brown and beige walls and floor, featuring a group of people in period clothing gathered around a central table or chest draped with colorful fabrics in pale yellow, lavender, and pink tones; several figures wear hats with feathers and garments in muted greens, tans, blues, and off-white, and one figure appears to be holding a string of beads. In the foreground a small white curly-haired dog and a larger white-and-gray dog sit on the floor near a standing couple dressed in pale and dark clothing, while to the right a seated man in dark clothing and a wide-brimmed hat leans on a cane beside trunks and chests. Near the bottom right corner a display of metallic objects in gold tones sits atop a raised surface next to folded white cloth and a long dark stick, and in the distant right background an arched passageway reveals a few more figures and a small area of pale light.
