Vase with lid, Prószków Slaski faience factory 1763–1853, egg-shaped soup tureen with a lid in the form of a flattened ellipsoid/hemisphere. Handles of the vase and lid are two crossed ribbons. Decorated with small painted floral projections and large bouquets of multicolored flowers; on both sides of the vase and lid are bouquets with a pink rose. Handles are adorned with vermilion daisies with large green leaves. Rim of the vase and cover painted brown. Ca. 1785, Province of Silesia Silesia, Prószków Slaski. Vessel; height 25.5 cm, length 35.5 cm., A lidded ceramic tureen with a glossy white surface sits against a pale gray background, featuring a curved handle on each side and an arched double handle on the domed lid; the piece is decorated with painted floral motifs in pink, green, orange, yellow, and touches of blue, and shows areas of brownish discoloration or wear along the handles and rims.
