Vase with lid, Prószków Slaski faience factory 1763–1853; egg-shaped soup tureen with lid in the form of a flattened ellipsoid/hemisphere. Handles of the vase and lid are in the form of two crossed ribbons. Decorated with small painted floral projections and large bouquets of multicolored flowers; on both sides of the vase and lid are bouquets with a pink rose. Handles adorned with vermilion daisies with large green leaves. Rim of the vase and cover painted brown. Floral decorations, roses. Circa 1785. Silesia Province of Silesia. Vessel. Height 25.5 cm; length 35.5 cm., A white ceramic covered bowl with a lid and two handles sits against a pale gray background, decorated with painted floral motifs in pink, green, orange, yellow, and a bit of blue, with brownish brush accents on the handles, rim, and base; the lid has a curved double-arched handle and matching floral decorations, and the bowl shows several clusters of flowers and leaves around its sides.
