Vase with lid, Prószków Slaski faience factory ca. 1785, 1763–1853. Egg-shaped soup tureen with lid in the form of a flattened ellipsoid/hemisphere. Handles of the vase and lid are two crossed ribbons. Decorated with small painted floral sprigs and large bouquets of multicolored flowers; on both sides of the vase and lid are bouquets with a pink rose. Handles are adorned with vermilion daisies with large green leaves. Rim of vase and cover painted brown. Province of Silesia Silesia, Prószków Slaski. Vessel; height 25.5 cm, length 35.5 cm., A white ceramic lidded tureen with a curved handle on the lid and two looped side handles, decorated with painted floral motifs including pink and purple roses, orange and yellow flowers, and green leaves; the rim and handles show brownish accents and wear, and the piece sits on a shallow base against a pale gray background.
