Candlestick, Prószków Slaski faience factory 1763–1853. Candlestick in the shape of a polygonal baluster supported on a wide, round conical base with a wavy edge. Painted colorfully; on the foot are two miniatures depicting landscapes with architecture, and oblique projections of twigs on the shaft. 1770–1783. Silesia Province of Silesia. Prószków Slaski. Porcelain/faience candlestick, height 18.2 cm, width 13.0 cm., A white ceramic candlestick with a rounded base and a slender, contoured stem decorated with small green leafy sprigs; the base shows a painted landscape scene with a small house, trees, and distant hills in muted greens, browns, blues, and a touch of red, and a thin brown rim around the edge.
