Oval platter, Glinica faience factory 1771–ca.1870. Oval platter with a delicately modeled 6-petal collar. White, painted with colorful floral motifs. At the bottom is a bouquet with a large purple-pink peony and a carnation; below are yellow ranunculus and forget-me-nots. On the mirror are three small flower sprigs. On the collar are three larger floral arrangements of chicory, peonies with buds, and yellow flowers, interspersed with three small stems with leaves. Decoration executed with great care. Two large cracks and metal fastening clasps visible from previous conservation. 2nd half of the 19th century; 18th century; Province of Silesia 1742–1918, Silesia. Vessel; height 4.5 cm, width 33.0 cm, depth 41.0 cm., An oval white ceramic plate with a scalloped rim decorated with painted flowers, including a large pink peony-like bloom, a smaller pink carnation-like flower, yellow blossoms, and a few small blue flowers, accompanied by green leaves and stems; the rim has small scattered green leaf motifs and a thin dark edge, and the background behind the plate is a uniform light gray.
