Tin-mounted tankard, Prószków Slaski faience factory 1763–1853. White cylindrical tankard in a pewter mount. On the front is a depiction of an obese musician playing a double bass, shown in vigorous movement. The musician is dressed in a yellow jacket, purple pantaloons, and a lilac hat with a yellow brim. Floral sprigs on the sides. On the tin cover engraved CGH/1811. Late 18th century. Silesia Province of Silesia, 1742–1918. Prószków Slaski. Vessel. Height 24.0 cm; width 15.0 cm; depth 9.5 cm., A light-colored ceramic stein with a curved handle and a metal hinged lid topped by a rounded finial, the stein has metal accents at the lid and base and a small floral motif with green leaves and blue petals on its body; visible colors include white, gray, silver, green, and blue.
