Vase, Karol Wolff fl. ca. 1800 and Bielino faience factory 1779–1800. A baluster-shaped faience vase with profiled base, short slightly flared neck, and vaulted profiled foot. Olive-brown body with a white, cobalt-shaded depiction of a plum tree whose bent, widely spread branch and network of flowery twigs cover the entire body. Around the profiled belly, a row of white, shaded pearls; at the rim, an ornament in the shape of stylized teeth. Chinoiserie/Far Eastern motifs, plant decorations. Warsaw, Poland, ca. 1770–1800. Decorative vessel; height 17.0 cm, width 13.2 cm., A ceramic vase with a rounded body and flared rim sitting on a pedestal base, decorated with floral motifs and branching stems in shades of blue and white against a brown background, with blue bands near the rim and base and a band of oval medallions encircling the waist; the surface shows glossy highlights and a few areas of worn or chipped brown glaze, and the vase is reflected faintly on a smooth pale surface.
