Platter with Imari decoration, Kaiserliche Porzellanmanufaktur in Wien 1744–1864, imari style, Far Eastern style decorations. Round, bowl-shaped platter with a 16-petal edge and a 16-part lambrequin ornament trail symmetrically placed around the collar. On a wide cobalt-blue band around the edge are 8 brick-red peony flower motifs, each underpinned by a gold loop on the strap with a brick-red zigzag motif; alternating with the peony motifs are eight reserved disc-shaped fields at the edge with alternating brick-red plant arabesque motifs or cobalt–brick stylized floral-leaf motifs. In the lower part of the collar is a pattern of four flowered shoots with small flowers. A 16-petal mirror, bordered with a cobalt pattern with gilding, contains an inscribed motif of a bouquet in a cobalt vase flanked by two fences. At the edge on the reverse of the collar are 8 discs with a symmetrical brick-red floral and leafy motif, alternating with fields with a cobalt–brick-red stripe at the edge a brick-red line of lines forming triangles. Vessel; height 5.0 cm, width 29.0 cm., A scalloped porcelain plate is shown upright on a clear stand against a plain gray background, featuring a central floral arrangement in a vase with stylized petals and leaves painted in red and blue tones, surrounded by a broad decorative band with cloudlike blue motifs and red floral elements; the rim has alternating cartouche-like panels with intricate red designs and blue backgrounds containing red and orange floral shapes, and small touches of yellow accenting some of the motifs.
