Platter with Imari decoration, Porzellanmanufaktur du Paquier Vienna; 1718–1744, imari style, Far Eastern flowers, Far Eastern style decorations. Round large platter with a multi-petaled collar edge with a wide cobalt trail with gilded diagonal latticework and a rhomboid 4-leaf rosette motif in the field. The cobalt trail features eight suspended cobalt valances with an inscribed bipartite tulip motif and symmetrical gilding, alternating with eight disc-shaped valances partially inscribed in a cobalt stripe, each with a peony blossom mortise and a suspended floral bifoliate palmette. The center of the mirror shows a loose composition of twigs and flowers, including peonies, surrounded by five loosely scattered brick-red flower twigs. On the reverse of the collar are two plum blossom twigs alternating with two cobalt grass reed? shoots, complemented by brick-red leaves with a flower. c. 1730, Vienna, Austria. Vessel; height 7.0 cm, width 42.0 cm., A round ceramic plate with a white central field and a decorative border sits against a gray background; the center shows a floral spray with a large rose-like flower in shades of red and pink, accompanied by dark blue and green leaves and smaller blossoms in red and pink, with a few tiny floral sprigs nearby; the rim features alternating shield-shaped panels and blue patterned segments, the panels containing stylized floral motifs in red, pink, and dark blue, and the patterned segments showing a lattice-like design in dark blue and gold with additional red and pink flower details; the plate edge is scalloped and the colors visible include white, dark blue, red, pink, gold, and dark green.
