Vase lid with Imari decoration, Kaiserliche Porzellanmanufaktur in Wien 1744–1864. Imari style, Far Eastern-style floral decorations. Flat-arched lid with Imari decoration continued on the vase in a 4-part arrangement: two 6-petal brick-red cobalt half-rosettes with gilding, a lotus flower with leaves, and a peony flower on a branch, with a small bud. Flat gilded button-rosette handle, set on the lid in a cobalt band with a brick-red spiral. Mid-19th century; 18th century attribution noted. Austria, Vienna. Decorative vessel. Height 5 cm, diameter 21.5 cm. Maker: Praglowski, Jan fl. ca. 1954 attributed/inscription., A lidded ceramic jar displayed against a grey background, predominantly white with painted floral decoration in red, green, blue, and gold tones; the rounded body and domed lid show a repeated motif of stylized flowers and leaves, including a large red blossom on the front surrounded by green leaves and blue foliage outlined with gold; the lid has a small finial topped with a gold and brown petal-like knob, and the jar sits on a short white foot with reflections visible on the glossy surface.
