Vase lid with Imari decoration, Kaiserliche Porzellanmanufaktur in Wien 1744–1864. Imari style, Far Eastern–style floral decorations. Flat-arched lid with Imari decoration continued on the vase in a 4-part arrangement: two 6-petal brick-red cobalt half-rosettes with gilding, a lotus flower with leaves, and a peony flower on a branch with a small bud. Flat gilded button-rosette handle, set on the lid in a cobalt band with a brick-red spiral. Mid-19th century–18th century, Vienna, Austria. Decorative vessel. Height 5 cm; diameter 21.5 cm. Maker attribution: Praglowski, Jan fl. ca. 1954 removed as collection provenance., A rounded lidded porcelain container sits against a plain gray background, predominantly white with painted floral and foliate decoration. The lid has a small domed handle with a gold and darker detailing. A large rosette motif adorns the front, composed of alternating petal shapes in red and blue with gold ornamentation radiating from a central circular element. Smaller scattered flowers and leafy sprays in green, red, blue, and gold appear around the body, along with stylized blades of grass in green and blue. The overall color palette includes white, red, blue, green, and gold.
