Saucer, Hausmaler house painter and Ferner, JF ca. 1750, or workshop, Koenigliche Porzellain Fabrique, Meissen 1710–1763 manufacturer. Hausmalerei; bowl-shaped tile/saucer painted underglaze with cobalt and overglaze polychrome and gilding. In the center a Far Eastern motif with a bird and a rock painted in cobalt, complemented by colorful flowers and a dwarf standing next to the bird, enclosed in a brick-red circle of tendrils with gold borders. On the collar three floral compositions alternating with three four-leaf flowers; cobalt semicircle border around the rim and mirror decoration with gilding; cobalt borders on the reverse of the collar and in the bottom. Mid-18th century, Meissen, Saxony, Germany. Vessel; height 2.7 cm, diameter 12.8 cm., A small porcelain cup and a matching saucer sit against a gray background, both decorated with floral patterns in blue, red, green, and gold; the cup is mostly white with blue floral vines and gold accents along its rim and base, showing touches of green on leaves, while the saucer displays a central circular scene of blue floral branches surrounded by a red decorative ring and scattered red and green flowers, its rim highlighted in gold and mounted on a gold stand.
