Bowl, house painter co-creator, Ferner, JF ca. 1750, or workshop house painter co-creator; Koenigliche Porzellain Fabrique, Meissen 1710–1763 factory/author. Hemispherical bowl with a rim at the bottom, parted, with a slightly rolled-up edge. Painted in cobalt in a Far Eastern motif with a bird and a rock decor by Fels und Vogel and with a polychrome house painter interior: a reclining man leaning against a rock, two floral compositions and an architectural motif in the circle of the bottom, around a cobalt branch. Floral decoration with a bird and a rock; cobalt semicircle pattern around the edge; flower in the bottom and bottom rim; gilded. Ca. mid-18th century. Meissen, Saxony, Germany. Vessel; height 4.5 cm, diameter 7.8 cm., A small porcelain cup and a matching saucer set against a plain gray background, the cup positioned to the left and the saucer on a brass stand to the right; both pieces are predominantly white with decorative blue floral motifs and accents of red and gold, the cup showing blue floral patterns around its body with a gold rim, and the saucer displaying a central blue floral scene surrounded by a red decorative band, additional red floral accents, and gold edging.
