Jug plate, Koenigliche Porzellain Fabrique, Meissen circa 1720–1735, Meissen, Saxony. Porcelain shallow bowl plate in an oval, concave-convex, multi-part reserve in a mirror, bordered with gilded lace and supplemented with purple leafy volutes with fields of Chinese lattice. Central colorful landscape miniature with staffage: a bay with a sailing boat, architecture including a round building on the shore, and two sailing boats in the distance. Around the rim a trail of gilded, serrated lace. On the reverse of the collar three Indianische Blumen branches. Height 3.8 cm; diameter 18 cm. Maker attribution: Koenigliche Porzellain Fabrique, Meissen 1710–1763., A round ceramic plate with a central painted scene framed by ornate decorative borders; the scene shows a waterfront with sailing boats and a small stone building near trees, and a shoreline with a tree on one side, painted in muted tones of brown, green, blue, and gray with touches of reddish-brown; the plate rim is decorated with intricate scrollwork and patterns in gold and purple on a white background, and the plate sits on a small metal stand that is brass-colored.
