Candlestick, Koenigliche Porzellain Fabrique, Meissen 1710–1763. One-candle candlestick with profiled baluster shaft and 8-segment round foot; candle socket mounted on a profile with relief acanthus leaves. Decorated with gilding acanthus frieze, relief campanulas and twigs and projections of Far Eastern flowers; two twigs with a bird around the foot; two small insects on the socket. Brown border around the edge of the candle holder. Circa 1750. Meissen, Saxony. Function: lighting. Height 23.8 cm; diameter 16 cm., A white ceramic candlestick with a glossy finish standing against a plain gray background, featuring a flared base with a scalloped edge and a tall, tiered stem with rounded and angular segments; the surface is decorated with small floral motifs in green, orange, blue, and red, along with gold accents on raised details and the top rim, and the overall shape shows a gently curving silhouette with decorative cutouts near the top.
