Cabinet, Empire style, mahogany veneered and polished, 1815–1825, Warsaw, one-piece cabinet with slightly rounded front closed by double doors, supported by four low angular tapering legs terminating in animal-paw feet. Front corners are chamfered with herm pilasters; top has a wide frame raised in the center and projecting. Door leaves have framed construction with single panels and corner cubes; back is framed with two panels. Female busts, herm feet and leg slopes cast in cast iron; brass hinges. Function: furniture, storage unit. Dimensions: height 83 cm, width 113 cm, depth 56.3 cm., A wooden cabinet with a warm brown finish and visible wood grain stands against a plain light gray background, featuring a curved front with a pair of central doors and a rectangular top with a stepped center section; each front corner shows a vertical tapered support topped by a small dark sculpted bust and accented with a narrow band of metallic color, and the cabinet rests on tapered legs ending in dark claw-like feet.
