Swan Service. Rectangular, on four volute legs, with shell handles on the shorter sides, with the Bruehl marital coat of arms. At the bottom there is a relief with swans, a crane and a heron; the inner sides have a shell relief, Indian flowers and gilding at the edge. 1740. Saxony; Meissen. Vessel. Height 8.5 cm; width 31.0 cm; depth 20.4 cm., A group of ornate white ceramic serving pieces displayed against a dark gray background, including a large scalloped platter, a shallow oval bowl, a footed rectangular dish, a dome-shaped covered dish with a loop handle, and a pierced sauceboat with a pedestal base; the ceramics feature raised molded decoration with motifs of birds and foliage, applied floral details, and gilded trim along rims and handles, with small painted floral accents in colors such as red, green, blue, and gold.
