Sweets plate by Johann Joachim Kaendler 1706–1775, modeled with contributions by Johann Friedrich Eberlein 1695–1749, manufactured by Koenigliche Porzellain Fabrique, Meissen Meissen, Saxony, 1740. Rectangular vessel on four volute legs, with shell handles on the short sides, bearing the Brühl marital coat of arms. Bottom relief with swans, a crane and a heron; inner sides with shell relief, Indian flowers, and gilded edge. Height 8.5 cm; width 31.0 cm; depth 20.4 cm., A shallow porcelain dish with ornate handles sits on a neutral gray background; the dish is primarily white with gold edging and gold-accented feet, and it has small floral painted decorations in red and green on the inner rim and handles, with some brownish details on the handles and subtle variations of white on the dish surface.
