Bottle. Spherical bottle, narrowed at the top with a pressed rim, the foot slightly widening at the base. White ceramic painted with cobalt of varying saturation, with loosely scattered plant motifs resembling oak leaves, flowers, and acorns. On the front of the body, a coat of arms cartouche under a banderole no inscription. The blue-and-white leaf decoration shows Venetian influence. Maker: Montelupo pottery workshop Montelupo, Italy, 2nd half 16th century. Height 24.5 cm; width 18.0 cm., A round ceramic object with a worn, discolored central area showing rough brown and dark brown patches, surrounded by a glazed surface decorated with blue floral and leaf-like brushstrokes on a white background, and a small area of pale gold and light blue ornamentation along the rim; the overall scene sits against a smooth gray backdrop.
