Platter, Manises ca. 1400–, Round ceramic platter with a wide collar and a bulging central cup-shaped bottom. Decorated with four concentric bands of varying widths filled with a geometric ornament resembling a braid composed of two intersecting zigzags; between them are white bands with an ornament of circles and dots. Around the central disc is a trail of four-leaf rosettes; a rosette in the center of the bottom. On the bottom: a wavy star, a spiral, and two rows of oval leaves at the edge. Geometric-floral ornament; 16th century, Spain Manises. Vessel; height 5 cm, width 40 cm., A round ceramic bowl with concentric decorative bands featuring geometric patterns and dot motifs in shades of reddish-brown and cream, showing an iridescent sheen with pale pink and purple highlights; the bowl has a raised central boss and visible wear with small chips and surface scratches; the background is a neutral light gray.
