Painted with red mirror in the motif of a bird with spread wings in the center, with volute plant motifs all around. Traces of supports used during firing on the face. 16th/17th century, Spain; Manises. Vessel; height 4.5 cm, width 20.0 cm, A round ceramic dish viewed from above with a glossy yellow interior and a rim showing chipped red and brown glaze, several small rough patches and areas of wear on the surface, and a few spots where the glaze is missing, set against a neutral gray background.
