Case for a stamp, bookbinding, embossing; leather case in the form of a chest slightly widened at the top, with an eternal hinge slightly convex, covered with leather with gold-embossed decoration stripes and zigzag lines at the edges; on the lid, flowers with stems at the edge and one in the center. Interior lined with pink satin. 2nd half of the 18th century, Poland . Case; height 3.5 cm, width 7.8 cm., A small rectangular box with a slightly domed lid sits on a reflective surface; the box appears made of a dark brown material with areas of lighter brown wear and a decorative border in a yellowish-gold color, and the lid shows a pattern of floral motifs in muted gold and brown tones. The front edge has two metal hinges in a dark metallic gray and a short braided cord in a pale beige attached near one hinge. The sides and corners display the same dark brown and gold decorative trim, and the reflection beneath the box mirrors its brown, gold, and gray colors against a neutral gray background.
