Table, snakes, rosettes ornament, plant decoration, classicism style, rectangular table with a drawer in a fluted frame, supported by four straight, angular, tapering legs terminating in wedge-shaped feet. Entire piece veneered with rosewood and polished. Tabletop has a straight, plate-shaped rim veneered in a cross pattern, with a rectangular central field and a narrow cross-frame, blintzed on the underside. Drawer handle is a knob formed of twisted rope with rosette plates. Drawers form a glued frame with sockets in the corners for mounting the leg tenons. Late 18th century, possibly Warsaw. Furniture; height 76.5 cm, width 84.2 cm, depth 59.5 cm., A wooden table stands on a light gray surface against a light gray background; the table has a rectangular top with a patterned wood grain in warm brown tones, a skirt with vertical slatted detailing in similar brown, and four tapered legs showing alternating lighter and darker brown wood grain, each terminating in a small faceted foot.
