Vase, Cmielów faience and porcelain factory; 1804–, wallpaper patterns, orchids, plant decoration, floral decoration, unknown provenance. A small vase with a convex belly supported by a small foot. Decoration in blue print with a wallpaper pattern. Vertical, fan-shaped handles, slender in a fantastic leaf shape with a line gently diverging from the belly and curling high towards the rim, surrounding the upper part of the vase with a fluted leaf. 1840–1860, Poland, Cmielów. Vessel; height 16 cm, length 32 cm, width 20 cm., A large bowl-like vessel with two curved handles sits on a shallow matching base against a plain gray background; the surface of the vessel and base is covered in a dense floral and foliate pattern in shades of blue on a white ground, with the interior of the bowl appearing mostly white with a few blue specks, and the handles showing the same blue-and-white decoration.
