Vase, Cmielów faience and porcelain factory; 1804–, wallpaper pattern, orchids, plant and floral decoration, unknown provenance. Small vase with a convex belly supported by a small foot. Decoration in blue print with a wallpaper pattern. Vertical, fan-shaped handles, slender in a fantastic leaf shape with a line gently diverging from the belly and curling high towards the rim, surrounding the upper part of the vase with a fluted leaf. 1840–1860, Poland, Cmielów. Vessel; height 16 cm, length 32 cm, width 20 cm., A ceramic two-handled bowl with a matching underplate, both covered in an intricate floral and vine pattern in shades of blue on a white background, with sweeping curved handles on either side and a rounded foot supporting the bowl; the surface shows subtle variations in blue intensity and some small areas of wear, and the objects sit against a smooth gray background with a faint reflection visible beneath the plate.
